best thing to do is to put in some philips 50% brighter bulbs you will get them in a an auto shop, bout €20, dont put in higher watt bulbs ie 100w you will melt the wires and do damage to the light fitting

Been using these for 3 years now and they are the dogs balls. I never measured before and after with a photo or anything. But I can see an outline of my headlights on the road ahead when I fitted them and the view of the ditches is 100% better.
Highbeam pisses off sleepy drivers now too.

I was just about to post about my beams. I'm just back from Balbriggen and I had trouble seeing the cats eyes and my heads didn't improve things much. Do different bulbs make much of a difference?

Try parking on level ground in front of a wall or similar to see how high the beams are when on, maybe they just need adjusting upwards...
Cheers.

bros88 is correct chopper these electrical systems are designed to cope with with the bulbs that are fitted as standard plus a little bit extra so you can go up to 60/65 watt ok any more will do damage and can cause failure in the lighting systems

Was just about to search life sized sex dolls site for these bulbs, then saw this thread-read about the Osram ones in MCN, wouldn't mind gettin a set for the 10R, don't find the standard ones too bad, but it all helps.
