How many litres you getting for your €36?
GS does about 180miles on 20litres average = 41mpg

Re: Milage on a Pan

Yea, id say thats about right. It works out approx 45ish MPG.

Im gettin that on me 85' GL1200, Regularly do similar speed & distance, and im fairly happy with that..
Doing engine tune-up at the mo, so im really interested to see the results, speed -vs- fuel economy etc..

Re: Milage on a Pan

1.57 a litre divided into 36 euro = 22.92/210 miles = 9.16 miles per litre X 4.54 (litres in a gallon) = 41.6 miles per gallon :cool3:

Where does the 20 come from? Is it a very rough approx of 22.92?

Re: Milage on a Pan

Simple maths : 10 miles / litre is roughly 45 mpg.

Pan, I'd expect that around town, possibly into the 50s anyway on the open road / twisties depending on the pilot.
The RT shows anything from 45mpg in town to above 60 on a fun spin - curiously likes to be revved, try a gear lower than you might otherwise use?

Sounds about right !! I can get anywhere from 200 to 250 from my Pan and I am usually commuting 11 miles to work and another 11 back. They can be thirsty enough alright but still way better than the Busa I had :lbhbh::lbhbh::lbhbh::lbhbh::lbhbh:

The 20 is 20Litres...The approx size of the tank.
I dont know the Pan's actual tank, but would assume, its about 20 liters.

Love the Pans, specially the old ST's..what a savage all rounder!:thumbsup2:
