product/parts review forum?

Might be talking shit here but does anybody think a bike product/part review forum would be handy? It might be a little naive of me to think the mods would be interested or even if its possible but I for one would find it helpful and interesting.

Someone who buys and uses a certain product- specific cans, engine mods, tank covers or helmets and other gear could either start a new thread and give their own rating or give their rating on another thread if one has been opened for that specific item. Would save a lot of people posting stuff like "whats this can like" and "will this helmet fog up like the car in Titanic?".

Anyway, just a thought:wassat:

Re: product/parts review forum?

I'll start...

I bought a reg/rec for my bike last month... it worked.

The one that was on before it must have been shite, because it stopped working, but the new one is working, so it must be better than the old one. It's shiny too, and everyone knows that shiny is better. Also, the new one came with a heat sink fitted. Apparently, it's the revised edition, and everyone knows that revised is better. It's like revisited, and you only revisit somewhere if it's A: The scene of a crime, B: Somewhere you liked, or C: You forgot it was shite first time, but this revised edition was definitely not A or C, so my powers of deduction tell me it must be B... or similar.

Anyway... did I mention that the new one is shiny?

Pros: It's shiny.

Cons: It cost more than not buying one.

no point..

plenty of reviews on review sites..

here we talk shit and bikes..

if someone wants to know about a certain product they are encouraged to start a thread then.. until then we will keep it all to ourselves..
