Whoever (748's possibly?) was riding the ducati at Party-wizard's memorial run from Woodenbridge a few years ago, even ticking over I've never heard anything like it.:thumbsup2:

For racing bikes, those classic bikes at the Skerries road race. Unbelievable sound outta them.:biggrin_old:

Loved the V5 RC211V = probably the most amazing sounding thing ever. All the V4 GP bikes sound class, although the 800s were a little thing compared to the 990/1000
For a road bike the Aprilia RSV4 is daddy and i like the sound of my own yoke too

One of the best "modern"ish sounding bike must have been the Kawasaki 500 triple, mighty twang from the pipes, well able to stand too!!!

i bought the first one of them in ireland in 1971 cost me new £480 yes they sounded great

Kawasaki Z1a 900 with an S&S pipe being drag raced (5/8th mile) in Carrigrohane road in the late '70's by Albie O Donnell, awesome sounding too

Best bike sound has to be all the bikes at road racing!
no tracks out there have bikes flat out for so long!
union mills in the Isle of Man is one of the most awesome spots to hear a bike being flogged in anger!
Howls echo over the island BLISS!

that and this yolk I had in the workshop a few years ago!
