Re: MotoGP Prediction
God, I hope things change a bit with the bigger engines.:rolleyes2: Will Pedrosa not struggle a bit with the heavier bike, being the light weight that he is?:lbhbh:
I'd love to see Spies do well, he had some crackin races last season.:thumbsup2: |

Actually genuinely curious whether it is an advantage to be lighter or heavier at the top level of racing. Can anyone enlighten me?:thumbsup2: |

I think he must have crashed out of more races than he finished last year.:lbhbh: Seems like a nice guy, would like to see him do well but you'd never hear the end of it from the British commentators if he did.:rolleyes2: |
Re: MotoGP Prediction
It's still all up in the air till the first race i think, It's one thing comparing their times on tests, it's another to see how they all handle their new machines competing for lines in corners and braking points against each other,
be very interesting to see how spies and crutchlow do considering their backround on the 1000's and the rate they've been progressing. Not making any predictions yet till i see them all on the battlefield together |

Lighter I'd say, for every lb lighter you are you get an X increase in power or somethin like that, thats why there's lighweight bits for bikes, save weight, increase power. :biggrin_old: Especially when them dudes are trying to shave 0ths of seconds off their times.. |

New yam seems to be closer to the Honda, Stoner from Lorenzo, Spies 3rd. if all stay fit. Rossi will get an occasional Podium, only 3rds As Stoner & lorenzo will finish ahead of him if they stay upright. If Lorenxo can stay with Stoner for the first couple of Races we will have a fight, but if Stoner walks away with 3 out of the first 4, Worry. will we have another Doohan on our hands |

He's an inch smaller than me.. mental! :ninja: |
Re: MotoGP Prediction
Stoner will walk it....again...
Same season results again too.....sure very easy predict with so little riders in the race, and if one or two crash out, it's like watching paint dry!! Rossi will only get a win/podium if all in front crash out...otherwise nothin for him.... could even be a worse season for him. don't believe any headlines from testing either...Either he's ready and up there at the front from race 1 of the season, or he's at nothing.... in fact, do what i'm gonna do(as every year) watch BSB...best entertainment week in, week out. knocks spots off MotoGP(Yawn) and with the new BSB rules(no traction control) it's down to the rider's right hand control, which is the real skill. :thumbsup2: |

To light is a problem they have to add weight to Danny bike in the wet to get the tyres to work! also he is the smallest out there on the big bikes I reckon all the taller lads have big advantage over him.. I think Rossi might be one to watch if all goes well for him! stoner, well the boy is good all he has to do is stay on! Danni I would love to see win a championship but I think he is the bridesmaid for life but Id love to see him do it! Lorenzo, well Id like to see somebody else do it tbh! I havnt really been keeping up with GP over the winter so will have to have a look at what they are at! |

Re: MotoGP Prediction
Really Dissappointed in Rossi's performances so far this year but he seemed to be doing well towards the end of Jerez and he said he's gonna change his riding style to try and suit the Ducati more so I dunno, really interested to see how he gets on tomorrow in the first practice! My 2nd major dissappointment has been Spies, thought he'd be flying this year but thats not the case dunno why to be honest.
The way things are going I can see Lorenzo winning it (as much as it pains me to say it I have to be honest) and Stoner coming 2nd (as much as it pains me to say it I have to be honest) with maybe Pedo 3rd... |

Re: MotoGP Prediction
Rossi wont see a podium this yr, closest he will get maybe a 6th at best.
Even the sports guru's on the web are questioning Rossi now, excuses wearing thin. He aint even getting the tv time now. Plenty of other riders coming up and already there on the gp grid. Not taking away from Rossi but sick to death of his woes being blown out of all proportion around the world. He cannot ride that bike, end of. Doesnt suit him and he wont adjust, wants it all his way. It aint no Yam or Honda. Thats it. Stoner is savage quick but lorenzo is the man this yr i reckon ?? Is it Speis last year at Yamaha :shifty: |
