Pirelli Diablo Rosso III (3) Tyre Experiences ??

Has anyone used these tyres and if so how do they find them?

Will be on the look out for a set soon enough and these seemed to have good reviews online, has anyone first hand experience with these and how are they with Irish weather, wet and dry?

Will be going on to 600 supersports.

I had the Rosso II on the R6 and they were pretty good, the III are supposed to be stickier on the dry but a bit of a compromise for the wet stuff...

Michelin Road Pilot 5 is my weapon of choice now, great tyre both wet/dry for the road. Lots of confidence on them.

Cheers
Rami

Same - I have PII's on the R6 - near time for change. Reasonable mileage, good grip. I avoid riding in the wet as much as possible.

Road Pilots seem to be the favourite though.

I have them on the Busa. Good tyre in dry conditions and reasonably good in the wet for a sport tyre. The window where they operate well is quite small and I've had a good few spin ups and minor slides when not giving them time to come up to temperature. (Good grip and.lots of.feedback when they are). If it was for all season duty I'd go for a sport tourer instead. The rear needs.replacing after about 5000 km , but the Busa chews through tyres.

Thanks for the feedback lads, I have Metzeller on at the minute cant remember the exact model but its not great.

I avoid rain as much as I can so really a sports tourer is something I dont want as thats what is on already.

The new Pirelli Diablo Corsa II is out a few months and seems to be the next level up from the Rosso 3 so interested in that.

Anyone heard about or tried these?

They're still on it :lbhbh:

I used them for the last year since I bought the R6 from Rami, all winter too, not a bother. Obviously not riding hard enough on them if they've lasted this long though :ninja:

I had The previous model Rosso Corsa's on the 08 Blade. Did a couple of track days on em and plenty of fast road miles too. Great tyre and grand to get you home if the rain comes in. Did a couple of laps of Mondello in the rain infact and they were just about ok. (although I was only toddling round once it got wet.) They have a fairly aggressive profile compared to more sedate rubber so nice turn in and decent feedback too. The newer model is supposed to be better again, just don't expect to get good milage!
