Ceramic coating

I am looking for somewhere to get a set of downpipes ceramic coated.

Is there anywhere in Dublin can do this?

Cheers,

A

Have you considered buying the coating and doing it yourself? It'll be much cheaper...

You can get a small bottle relatively cheap out of amazon/ebay, it'll be handy enough to do I reckon.

I recently used this stuff on the Busa, but I haven't put it back together yet as I'm waiting on parts. I used the grey primer that they sell too.

The finish looks good so far but it actually cures properly when you run the bike up to temperature so I'll wait and see. The cans were €15 each and the instructions were fairly good. Lots of youtube videos too.
Polishnparts.ie are located in Cork and I would recommend. They hand delivered them to me the same day, so I'd say you could have them by the next day in Dublin.

Re: Ceramic coating

Silly question time... Can I spray this onto the header bolts and fasteners to stop them from disintegrating?

Yeah, saw the self use stuff, but to be honest, I'd prefer someone else to do a soda/bead blast or whatever and then the proper, autoclave baked one.

Will try the crowd in Cork.

Cheers

The crowd in cork dont actually so it themselves. They ship your stuff to their place in the UK.
It actually works out cheaper to ship direct to the crowd in the UK and they are sound to deal with too :thumbsup2:
