cutting standard exhaust
 
Howdy, looking for some advice, cutting up the stock exhaust on my 650 drag star and was wondering if i could grind of the support and the bar connecting them together without any pressure troubles, was going to wield a plate over the whole to cover it in, cheers :)

That's the balance pipe, helps with resonance... It will run ok without it, you may end up with a flat spot, you may not.. Easily cured with jetting
