Fund raiser setup help

Hi lads. As you may know there was a serious accident at the isle of man a few weeks back and an irish racer is still in a serious condition in hospital in the UK. As we can appteciate this is naturally a difficult time for this man's family. Local bikers and non bikers alike have inquired as to how they could help.
I would like to try and setup a donation fund/page visible on the various social media sites where contributions could be made to help this mans family similar to some of the causes that are well supported on this forum.
Can someone help me with setting up this where people could give a few quid or tell me how to go about it as I don't know where to start regards bank account setup, PayPal setup etc, etc????

Help/info in setting up this would be much appreciated.

Thanks
D

Hi

The website I've used before is https://www.justgiving.com/ . If you have his/ his spouses details you could just give the link to it and just get as many people as you can aware of it though here, bookface, twitter etc.

Hope he makes a full recovery

Sorry you could get them to give link to paypal and then people could give as a donation to family/ friend and that way your not losing some of the money as comission.

that might show up as income , separate payments and taxed etc, you dont want to be giving the fucks(Dail) 50% of the moneys

The just giving.com seems to be 5% retained per donation, reasonable enough I think. I will contact them tomorrow to check it out. Much appreciated lads and if there is more info or other methods please post
