As some of you know our club member and friend David (Tossels) Carney passed away a few weeks ago. In his memory we are holding our annual poker run for the Cara Cancer Care Centre which are opening an centre in Dundalk. We usually have our poker run to help out a local road racer but given the circumstances this year we decided to help out the people who would be helping David.
David was one of our own, and because of this I am asking for as much support as we can get for this day
There is prizes for best hands also raffles
Would be great to see you there

We are having our official Nomadic 90s Honda 50 Run this June 16th in Barna, Co. Galway.

We are in need of some generous people to donate their time and do some marshaling for us on the day.

The run is starting at 12 noon and will cover about 100km. Its for a really really good cause - Temple St Children's Hospital. We are trying to raise 10grand for them and this is one of our events

There is a Rock night on Fri 24th may in The Morning Star Pub in Tullyallen, Co. Louth to go towards Motorcycle Road Racer Ronan Pentonys recovery after a huge crash at the Ulster Grand Prix in August last year.

Ronan has spent the last 9 months between hospitals, at home in a wheelchair and back to hospital for ops and bone transplants.

Yesterday, May 9th was the first day he was out of the chair on crutches. It's been a long road and it's not over yet.

Live music by Dead Man's Foot & Bad Reputation (Thin Lizzy Tribute)

Starts 8pm Friday 24th May

Tickets 10 euro each.

The event is starting from West Wicklow House, Blessington from 10am to 11am. Route is approx 110/120 miles finishing back within 30 miles of Dublin. Last hand will be drawn at 3pm sharp.

Entry is €15 for rider and €5 for participating pillion. There will be prizes for 3 best hands and spot prizes.

In September this year Tony Toner is organising a trip from Chicago to New Orleans to raise funds for Irish Dogs for Disabled.


We have previously held 2 Poker Runs in Aid of Route 66/Temple St in 2009 & 2011 which were well suported by biker.ie:thumbsup2:

There is no cash alternative however it is transferable.
