Plan A : 11am B&Q, Nenagh, Birr, Bangher, Victoria lock. Quick fag break at each stop to make sure all is going to plan .:biggrin_old:

We could then go on to Loughrea, then Gort for a cup of tea .

Any other sugestions ?

Rob, I can't make Sun 8th March but keep posting, as I'd be up for a burn with anyone, anywhere in Limerick, North Tipp or North Cork.....just not for the next couple of sundays!

Might I suggest a lap of Lough Derg? Take the Parteen road out of Lim, in the back road to Nenagh (Through Portroe), up through Portumna & down the far side back into Killalloe. Road is not great in places but there are some nice bendy bits!!!

Wherever ye head...ENJOY!!! :ninja:

Halfords is on the ballysimon road which is basically the way to limerick from the main road to tipperary...There should be a signpost to eastway bussiness park....if your coming from the tipp side to limerick via this main road(n24 i think) it will be on your left...big place and you wont miss it..if you reach the roundabout its the first left and then the next left exit...hope that hepls

Im in fo sure!!!!Wouldnt mind a bit of noise pollution in these quiet times:woots:

What a day!!! I'm so glad I dragged myself out of my warm bed this morning.
All I can say is, my riding skills will be all the better for it!
Thanks Mo for staying with me in the wind at one stage, it's the one thing that freaks me out, always will.
Wasn't that pleased with my photos, some of them over-exposed, but at least we got them and that's the main thing.
Victoria Lock was fantastic, I'm definitely goin back there in the Summertime.
It's lovely to see all the relatively unknown beautiful places in Ireland!!
Thanks to all for making it a great day, roll on the next one.
