Howdy all...just wondering does anyone have some relevant details on a recfit mega for my ride? Power gains, etc., and whether or not I need a power commander and so on...cheers:thumbsup2:

Get the slash or growler, they are much nicer :thumbsup2:
Remapping is purely dependent on how finicky you are with the setup. It will work just like any other slip on, - there is a cat and silencer under the engine on your bike?

Yep. My plan is to ditch the cat. I believe 9kg's is shed! Not so sure about bhp gains though...

Hello pops, was thinking of getting a growler myself for my K6, But think i will hang on to the yoshi set up, If ya go with racefit a dyno would prob gain a few extra bhp.:thumbsup2:

dont like 'em
yes they are too loud for everyday use:woots:
sounds stoopid but true:rolleyes2:
and expensive if you opt for twin setup:wassat:
go for the leo vince cheaper by far with a bigger bhp gain:thumbsup2:
plus you ditch the cat (link pipe included)
with yoshi and alternative systems it aint:mad1:

Have you heard the slash?
Twin slashes on the 1000 would be erm, loud :lbhbh: and the slashes are only £150 or something ridiculously cheap

There's a thread on here somewhere about the new Harris GP style exhaust as reviewed on Mcn. Saw it a the NEC and it looks the bizz. Good power gains aand no power commander or dyno needed. 17 BHP gains on the dyno if you also install the intech. Got both and am waiting on delivery for my K5. Will post pics when fitted. Can't wait.....:thumbsup2:

Rite...
So its a heavy yoke that neutralizes much of the harmful emissions to the atmosphere...
remove it...and you save lots of weight....
Affect the sound in any way?

probably, affects performance too, because the exhausts are being hampered on their flow through the exhaust pipe.
The fastest escape route (obviously) being a straight through pipe with no silencer (moto gp).
Next best is the SBK of straight pipes with "silencer".
then, the normal cans that you can buy to upgrade your bike.

SBK standing for :unsure2:
I know LeoVince do SBK alright...
Ah...so it turns out i have the Cat out of the FZ6 S :rolleyes2:
As the "middle box" between exit cans and the Downpipes came off when i bought the Ixil's... they just went *link pipe-Cans direct*
Not straight through though as you CAN put baffles in and there is some little honeycomb thingeys inside them around the edge...
