You're down Wicklow way as far as I remeber PH......Take the N11 as far as Donnybrook. Take the left turn at the lights by the Smurfit Travel Building (Tall Brown brick office block) onto Morehampton road. Go straight on at the next two junctions. (You should have the river Dodder on your left) You'll pass under the 9 arches railway viaduct and the Dropping Well is approx 200m ahead of you on the left.

The breakfast in the Dropping Well is okay
the breakie in the Ballinteer House on the other hand, is excellent...
but not as good as the breakie you can get in the cafe beside MegaBucks.

Actually - I've had several Dropping Well brekkie's, the last of which was stupendous. I've only had one Ballinteer House greasepit surprise and it was memorable for all the wrong reasons. Maybe I hit an off-day

(or maybe there's a reason bussie needs 1300cc to cart him around at such a pedaestrian pace :D )

The Sunday Ride Committee meeting to decide on whether Technician be invited to participate in our gatherings took place on Thursday evening(as Bussie had nothing better to do because his internet connection was down) for an extended discussion in the Ballinteer House. Strong views were expressed by both sides in a full and frank exchange of opinions. But nobody paid much attention to Frank as to tell the truth he hasnt been much in evidence lately. Busman was in the chair when he wasnt at the bar and laboured diligently to ensure impartiality and despite allegations of favouritism by both sides he maintained a strictly neutral position that techie be banned.

The meeting adjourned at closing time without a final decision and is to meet again at 14.40 hours on Friday and review techies conduct in the meantime.

I could probably oblige Georgi, but I have a big night out on Saturday. Sunday morning's start will be entirely hangover dependant.

Any other kindly souls to voulenteer as pathfinder from town?

Sunday ride committee reconvened at 14.40 and has just terminated.
regretfully despite the best efforts of Bussie, the Chairman. the meeting decided that Technicians recent conduct was not deserving of a invitation to this sundays rideout.

At first glance I thought it was a Garda...but then I remembered Bussie had a yellow jacket. By the time i realised it I was way past..and loking for a place for a slash. Stopped by a bridge and went behind the pillar...ohhh, what relief.

Sorry folks if I didn't stop.

In Ennisorthy, we got a weather report from Bussie that the temp was getting low, 5 degrees, and foggy, and getting colder, so myself and Greg (the polish lad) decided to split to go inland to Kildare. I used up 2 of my 9 lives on the way home, Quick pace. My excuse is that I was trying to allow a 2 second distance from Greg who was at my rear wheel most of the time. Thing is He could only follow my rear light.
