Pubs showing MotoGP races in Cork

I arrived in Cork one month ago from Italy and I'm looking for pubs where I can watch motoGP races.
MotoGP season 2010 is going to start this Sunday at 9pm and I don't wanna miss Qatar race!!!
Could you suggest me one pub in the city center where I can watch the race?

Most pubs in Cork dont open at that hour Im afraid !! The best bet is to find someone with Eurosport or BBC2 and watch it with a friend !! Or if any of your relations have SKY then you can watch it on your laptop using the codes from the SKY box !! Search the SKY webpage for details !! :thumbsup2:

I dont have eurosport coz of the chorus package my parents got. Im going to get the membership online. Its 40 euro for eurosport and eurosport 2 for the year with live streaming and extra exclusive content whatever that will be I dunno. It saves messing around with links and hoping the work. My saturday afternoons wouldnt be the same without fromsport. Then hook the laptop/pc to the tv using vga and boom just like watching it live.

Racing wouldnt be as big in italy so It would be very doubtful of any pub showing the race unless the owner actually watches it.

Im in the same boat , fuckin shit chorus, And i gave away my free to air box after my TV blew up. free to air has all the BBC channels and an other channel that seemed to be the "red button" for BBC i was able to watch the 125 , 250 live.

Ill be getting that eurosport package

As far as I know, at 9pm on Sunday, almost all pubs should be open... btw I've just moved in a new apartment and I will not have a good internet connection on sunday... I'll bother some friend if I can't find any pub

Ahhh the silver key. I used to live around the corner. I remember one evening strolling along the churchyard lane heading to the key for a pint when a chair came crashing out the lounge window. I carried on to longboats instead. I spent many a happy evening there on quieter evenings.

Just go to the pub thats near you and ask them to show it, the way things are now they will do anything to get and keep customers. Most pubs have more than one tv so they can put the race on even if there is other things going on.:thumbsup2:

dont think they have the rights to broadcast it live atleast here and the UK ... BBC have it wrapped up, eurosport was always an hour later last year:thumbsup2:
